Festival. Beach Party. Scavenger Hunt. Tailgate. Dance-a-thon. Rooftop Social. Outdoor Areal Yoga. Backyard BBQ. Wedding? If you can imagine it, you can probably find somewhere to do it this summer. Warm sunny weather inspires fun, creativity, adventure, and bliss like no other time of the year.
Riding the summer vibes, we picked out our favorite looks from the admired women who have been designing catalogs and collections of envy – none of these outfits have affiliate links. The reason we do this isn’t to publicize a retailer or to get our friends to buy every piece; instead we love the inspiration it delivers to discover new creations, new colors, new materials, new shapes, and spark new ideas about ways to remix what we already have, or expand our horizons to include items we might not have considered.

Sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann founded their namesake label in 1991. They fast won a loyal following – smart, sartorially savvy women with an eye for quality fabrics and clever cutting. ZIMMERMANN began literally and creatively in Sydney, Australia, with Nicky focusing designing dresses and selling them at Paddington markets. Through the week Nicky would design and create garments from her parent’s garage in preparation for the weekend market. To this day the iconic Australian Label stays true to its original vision: Sophisticated femininity, clever colour combinations and delicate original prints.

ALEXIS is a high-end womenswear line established in 2008 by mother-daughter team Ana and Alexis Barbara. Together, the fabulous power duo designs for the woman that embraces all aspects of femininity, sophistication, and elegant ease.
The spirit of the ALEXIS brand echoes the personal style of Ana and Alexis, their worldly travels and passion for vintage has played an integral role in shaping their design style and aesthetic into what it is today.

The Amanda Uprichard brand begins with Amanda. Born and raised in Florida, Amanda moved to New York City with a goal of having a creative and exciting life in fashion. Her namesake brand officially launched in 2008 – a luxe clothing line for women inspired by the independent, trendy woman on-the-go. Her use of intricate details, feminine silhouettes and bold hues defines the brand for what is – a celebration of sexy, feminine, fun.
